Soon, your Move-C intermodal card will also give you access to CIM RC (Busway) and CP transport.
What is the MOVE-C card?
The MOVE-C is the intermodal card for the Coimbra Region that will allow you to travel on various transport operators, namely Metrobus, SMTUC and, in the future, CP on the CIM RC network.
When will it be available?
The MOVE-C card will be available soon, on a date to be indicated by Metro Mondego.
How much does it cost to get the card?
The card is free for holders of a card for Alternative Services to the Lousã Branch Line. To obtain it, you must present your Metro Mondego card at the ticket offices. For new customers, the card costs €6.
I already have an SMTUC card. Do I need to get the MOVE-C card?
No, those who already have a card to travel on the SMTUC network can use that card to load intermodal tickets.
Where and when can I get the card?
The Move-C card can be picked up, starting November 17th, at the Metro Mondego ticket offices in Miranda do Corvo and Lousã, and at the SMTUC ticket offices in Coimbra.
When picking up the MOVE-C card, will I have to hand over my Metro Mondego card that I use on alternative services?
No. The Metro Mondego card will remain in your possession, so you can continue traveling on alternative services.
What can I load onto the card?
Soon the Move-C card will allow you to load the intermodal pass, as well as tickets for occasional trips, which will allow you to travel on various operators.
Where can I load the card?
In addition to the ticket offices, the card can be loaded at all Metrobus stations, any day and at any time.
