Please be advised that starting next Monday, July 13, the entrance to the Coimbra University Hospital Centre (CHUC) via Avenida Bissaya Barreto will be closed for two weeks due to ongoing paving work on the Metrobus lane.

During this period, access will be permitted solely for entering and exiting the staff parking lots.

To access the Outpatient Clinics, please use the entrance at Praceta Mota Pinto, as shown in the attached image.

The SMTUC bus stop inside the CHUC complex will be taken out of service and temporarily relocated to the area near Praceta Mota Pinto, next to the main entrance.

Traffic flow within the CHUC grounds will improve, however, thanks to the completion of paving work at the north entrance and the restoration of two-way traffic on the link between Rua Aníbal de Lima and the Rua Dr. Afonso Romão roundabout.

Metro Mondego, Águas de Coimbra, and the Municipality of Coimbra ask for the public's understanding regarding the temporary disruptions this phase may cause; these measures are essential to advance a project that will significantly improve mobility in the city.
