Metro Mondego will intensify operational tests and conduct simulations prior to the commissioning of the Mondego Mobility System (SMM), allowing for testing of its full functionality before the public opening of the suburban section.
In this regard, MM informs residents and users of roads along the SMM canal that the necessary interventions for the placement of barriers and signs at the level crossings (PN) of the suburban section and their subsequent commissioning will take place during the week of November 17-21, in the following locations:
Coimbra Municipality:
AT1 – Rua das Vendas (EN110-1) – Ceira: November 18th;
AT2 – Rua Principal – Sobral de Ceira: November 18th.
Miranda do Corvo Municipality:
AT4 – Connection to EN633 – Casal Pequeno, Trémoa: November 18th;
AT5 – Rua do Pisão – Mancebo, Lobazes: November 19th;
AT6 – Rua Porto do Rio – Lobazes: November 19th;
AT7 – Estrada da ETAR: November 19th;
AT9 – Connection to R. Sta. Catarina – Corvo: November 20th;
AT11 – Connection to EN342 – Corvo: November 20th.
Lousã Municipality:
AT19 – Local Connection (between Rua 9 de novembro and the M553-2 in Rogela) after Espírito Santo Station: November 17th;
AT20 – Forest Road: November 17th;
AT23 – Rua Coimbra – National Variant 236: November 17th;
AT14 – Rua Cruz Ferro: November 20th.
Given the potential impacts these interventions may have on the population, we alert residents and road users so that they can be aware of these changes, ensuring the high safety levels of the SMM (Sistema Municipal de Mobilidade - Municipal Mobility System).
