In response to the New Year's Eve festivities planned for the Portagem area in Coimbra, Metro Mondego (MM) will adjust its operating hours on the night of December 31st.

The normal weekday schedule will be maintained, however, service will end at 11:30 PM.

Therefore, the last departure from Portagem station towards Serpins will be at 11:00 PM and towards Lousã at 11:30 PM.

In the opposite direction, the last departure from Serpins station will be at 10:00 PM, and from Lousã at 10:38 PM, both destined for Portagem.

The service in the urban area will maintain its scheduled operation, with frequencies of 15 minutes, in both directions, between 8:00 PM and 11:30 PM. 

However, the public is warned that, in the event of high demand for the System, capacity limitations may arise, making it difficult to transport all passengers.

MM will have customer support teams during this period to minimize any difficulties that may arise.
